Transforming aspiring players into tournament-ready competitors through data-driven training and deep positional understanding.
Anuj Parmar discovered chess at the age of 8 in a small coaching center in Gujarat, India. What began as a weekend hobby quickly turned into a lifelong obsession with the 64 squares. By 15, he had earned his first FIDE rating and was competing in state-level tournaments across western India.
After earning a FIDE rating of 1847 through years of competitive play, Anuj shifted his focus to coaching — driven by a belief that every student deserves personalized, structured guidance rather than generic opening memorization. Over the past 7 years, he has trained 200+ students ranging from absolute beginners to competitive tournament players, many of whom have gone on to earn their own FIDE ratings and win district and state championships.

Every training plan starts with a deep Stockfish analysis of your recent games. I identify your exact patterns of error — not generic advice, but your specific weaknesses in openings, middlegame tactics, and endgame technique.
Instead of memorizing 20 moves of theory, I teach you to recognize critical patterns. You'll learn to spot tactical motifs, understand pawn structures, and feel when a position demands action.
Most students below 1800 lose games they should win because of poor endgame technique. I prioritize endgame training early — king and pawn endings, rook endings, and practical conversion techniques.
Chess improvement isn't just about knowledge — it's about performing under pressure. I prepare students for tournament conditions: time management, opening preparation against specific opponents, and psychological resilience.
A no-commitment introductory session where I assess your current level, discuss your goals, and outline a personalized improvement roadmap. Includes a mini Stockfish analysis of your last 5 games.
One-on-one session covering game analysis, tactical training, positional concepts, or endgame technique based on your current training plan. Homework puzzles included after each session.
Intensive 4-session package designed for upcoming tournaments. Includes opening preparation against likely opponents, rapid calculation drills, time management strategy, and a full diagnostic report of your recent competitive games.
"Anuj sir completely changed how I think during games. Before coaching, I used to just move pieces randomly in the endgame. Now I understand pawn structures and I've started winning games I used to draw. My rating jumped 350 points in 6 months!"
"The Stockfish analysis reports were a game-changer for me. Anuj sir showed me exactly where I was losing games — mostly tactical oversights in the middlegame. The pattern recognition training helped me spot forks and pins much faster in tournament games."
"I started as a complete beginner and Anuj sir made learning chess so much fun. He explains everything with puzzles and stories. I won my first district tournament within 8 months of starting lessons!"
"As an adult improver, I was skeptical about coaching. Anuj's data-driven approach convinced me — he showed me statistical proof of my weaknesses and we systematically fixed them. The tournament prep package was especially valuable before my first rated event in years."
I'll analyze your recent games, identify your core weaknesses, and build a personalized improvement roadmap — at no cost.
